SprayDat started the same way a lot of good workshops do — with a genuine love for cars and a drive to do things properly. What began as a passion project has grown into a trusted local name for quality paint and bodywork in Toowoomba.

Chris, the owner and lead painter, first picked up a spray gun back in 2000. What started as working on cars with his dad quickly turned into something more serious. Friends and locals kept saying the same thing: “You should start a shop.” So he did. SprayDat officially opened its doors in 2014, built on years of hands-on experience and a simple goal — do clean, honest work that lasts.

Nick joined the trade in 2008 and brings just as much dedication to the workshop. Between the two of them, SprayDat has over 44 years of combined experience, covering everything from restorations and custom paint to accident repairs and detailing work. Every job that comes through the door gets the same level of care, whether it’s a full respray or a small repair.

Chris is a lifelong car enthusiast, especially when it comes to Datsuns, and that passion shows in the attention to detail put into every build. SprayDat isn’t about rushing jobs or cutting corners — it’s about doing things properly, taking pride in the work, and handing cars back looking better than they ever have.
